The Embassy of Ukraine in Nigeria actively supports Ukrainian and Nigerian business initiatives to create new joint projects and implement them both in Ukraine and Nigeria.
Lagos State is one of the biggest at economics’ view states in Nigeria, and building of such an agricultural complex is an important task for the leadership of the State. Building of the agro-complex is beneficial for both parties: Ukraine provides European quality services at an attractive price, attracts Ukrainian highly-skilled industry specialists, for Nigeria the project is beneficial in its own building of a complex for the domestic market that will fill the needs of the citizens, with a new jobs creating.
It is a good example of organizing Public Private Partnership.
The next step will be the arrival of Ukrainian experts to Lagos for the preparation of preliminary data, with the aim of developing the project for agro-complex building and at the end of November we look forward to the visit of officials from the Lagos State to Ukraine, in order to acquaint them with the experience of Ukraine in agriculture field.
